Funding Overview

IZUMI strives to partner with excellent nonprofit organizations working in the field of international public health.

We look for organizations with promising and practical innovations that improve the health outcomes for people living in the most impoverished areas of Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

The IZUMI Foundation awards grants three times during the year: April, June, and November.  If selected for a full proposal submission, your organization will be assigned to one of three funding cycles.

Most organizations selected for funding receive a two-year grant; although, one- and three-year grants are also considered. IZUMI grants are typically between $45,000 and $100,000, with funding split evenly for each grant year.
